Design & Craftsmanship: Walnut Veneer with Gloss Finish
The Altorchestra body is made of acoustically optimized MDF, the most used material in the high-end range for its stability and control of resonances.
We don't use solid wood: MDF guarantees a cleaner, more precise and distortion-free sound.
Each panel is then hand-covered with real walnut veneer, selected for its grain and visual harmony.
Our signature process follows:
6 to 10 coats of gloss paint, with:
• manual drafting
• sanding
• polishing
• controlled drying
The result is a deep and vibrant “piano” effect, where the walnut seems to light up from within.
An object that is both luxury design and an acoustic instrument.
